Over the last week I've seen a large group of Cormorants roosting on an island at Lake Ginninderra in Canberra. At first I thought they were all Great Cormorants, but on closer inspection, they're a mix of Great Cormorants and Little Black Cormorants, about 30 in all. I think so anyway - many of the cormorants had grey beaks, and from my reference material even the juvenile Great Cormorant has a slightly yellow beak. Has anyone else from Canberra seen this group of birds? Rob "Argue for your limitations and sure enough, they're yours."
