How do you reach this conclusion? My understanding is that there have been long slow changes in climate since the industrial revolution and the increasing use of fossil fuels for industry etc. I am happy to agree that there may no anthropogenic influence on the southward movement of this (and other birds species), however just because anthropogenic climate change was not an issue that the populace was aware of does not mean it was not occurring.
