Try catching the Long Term Carpark bus to the Engine Ponds.it'll save you a
lot of time!

Of interest, the Peregrines that reside at the airport (near the Jet Base)
have successfully raised a chick which I presume has only just taken flight.
I witnessed it yesterday trying unsuccessfully to land on the Airport
Central building (O'Riordan Street) near both its parents (one of which had
a fresh pigeon kill). Although it was able to fly, it made a great noise in
frustration at not being able to land!

Eventually it did manage to 'crash land' on the lower part of the 'C' on the
Airport Central sign on the southern side of the building. It intended
landing on the top of the 'C', but slid over the top and down between the
sign and the building before coming to a flapping stop on the lower part.
Very amusing to watch!

Cheers

Nigel

I tried sending this from work this morning but it appeared to bounce it
back, so apologies if it gets to you twice Ross!
