Hi All,
Some belated reports.

On the 18 October I found a Grey Wagtail on a gravel scrape about 70
km east of Broome. It was seen by a number of people on the 19 October
but news didn?t get out more broadly as all of us were on a boat to
Ashmore Reef the following morning. Not surprisingly it wasn?t there
when we returned eight days later.
This bird was very confiding and approachable?surprisingly so given it
was sharing the small wetland with up to eight Brown Goshawks!

On the 2 November Adrian Boyle and Luke Paterson found a second Grey
Wagtail at Palmerston Sewage Ponds just south of Darwin. It was around
for at least a couple of days.

Luke Paterson reported yet another Grey Wagtail at Twin Falls in
Kakadu on 5 October. It was still there on 7 Nov.

Three Grey Wagtails reported from the mainland in as many weeks is
probably unprecedented.

Cheers,
Rohan
