Hi All, I've just seen Blue billed Ducks for the first time - at the Jerramoberra settlement ponds beside Dairy Road in Fyshwick ACT. There were three, amongst a group of Hardheads. If only I had a 1000mm lens and a tripod! >From a distance they look very similar to the Hardhead, but closer up they are >quite different - with the wingtips well above their tails and amazingly >bright blue bills.
