Flickr has similar terms of service to Facebook - however it spells out in
more detail what is meant by derivative works. With Flickr you can display
photographs based on keywords - show me all the images of Night Parrots, for
example. In producing a list of thumbnails for you to click on, Flickr
requires the licence to display these images - this is considered a
derivative work. Once again, by removing your photos, you are revoking the
licence to use that image in these derivative works.
I daresay any application that has a social-networking bent would require
this sort of a licence. Dedicated photo hosting sites such as Pbase probably
do not.

I am not sure about Flickr. I do know that posting to Facebook is
effectively giving your work away.
To be honest, that's probably a complete non-issue for people wanting to
discuss ID snapshots, but I don't think you'll find any of us who take
photography a bit more seriously posting there.
