I remember seeing photos of Bourke during a large drought in the late 1800's or early 1900's. The photos showed the paddle boat wharves about 16 to 20 feet high a dry river bed. I will see if I can dig them up. =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
