Albatrosses

Hi all,
I'm a little reluctant to ask this, and think I might duck until the dust settles, BUT....

Can someone help with what Christidis and Boles list for the following Albatross taxonomy (I don't have access to C&B).

We went on our first Pelagic yesterday (great day, thanks Ian May et. al. - so helpful to have experienced hands who knew their ID's), and added either 14, 15, 16, 17 or 18 lifers, depending on the currently "accepted" (I use the word with some apprehension) Albatross taxonomy.

My questions in particular are:

1. Do C&B recognize Northern and Southern Royal Albatross as separate Species or not?

2. Do they have Salvin's Albatross as a separate species to Shy, or only as a race?

3. Do they have Campbell Albatrosses split from Black-browed? and

4. Do they have gibsoni as a race of the separate species of Antipodes Albatross, or as a race of Wandering Albatross?

Which ever books and guides I look at give me different answers to these questions, so thought I'd better look to what C&B have

Thanks in advance - now I'll go take a Bex and lie down until the 'shouting and the tumult dies', and see what we've come up with.

Cheers,
John Tongue
