Sorry Simon I don't agree. I've only seen one, and had to check the ID
notes, but it does look different to the one I saw.
1. Solid grey upper parts look right
2. The underparts do not appear 'heavily barred', but that seems to
vary for this species
3. 'Finely streaked face', probably not
4. But, the 'eye line is long and dark'
5. Long straight black bill and white eye ring both right
6. 'Dull yellow legs', not quite, I'd say they're quite bright yellow,
but the Grey's legs are generally quite dull .
The other key ID feature I've found is "wing tips project far beyond
the tail when at rest", which doesn't seem to be the case with this
bird, though it's hard to tell from the pic. Maybe a re-observation in
the field of this characteristic would nail it for you? So I'm not
prepared to commit from this photo, but it's definitely close!
