Funny you should ask! I had my camera but didn't take a single frame
as I was spending as much time as possible looking at birds. We only
looked at the field guides after about an hour and didn't even think
to click the camera. Tom Tarrant sent me a private note reminding me
that the Australian Bird Image Database has a lot of albatross images:

Having just looked at a bunch of albatross in the wild, I can say that
reviewing the images in the ABID after-the-fact is a big help. I think
looking through the images both before and after a seabird outing is
going to become a regular habit for me.
