Then there is the question of how you take the photos. Digiscoping a wheeling bird might not be very productive. I've had some success mounting my camera beside the scope on a simple bracket I made. Once you've made sure it's pointing in pretty much the same direction as the scope you can lock the focus to infinity and the exposure to something that works, then shoot as you observe through the scope.
