Hi everybody - Andrew Taylor said: Its unlike the BBC Natural History Unit to make such an obvious error. I have not seen 'Attenborough in Paradise', but I believe that it was first released in 1996. Does it also contain footage from when Attenborough first visited New Guinea (in the late 1950s I think)? If so, that was well before our current understanding of plate tectonics and the relationships of Australasian birds and it would be an anachronism rather than an error.
