Hi Chris,In the early 1970s I found a Southern Boobook roosting in an exotic palm tree at Observatory Hill, adjacent to the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It was there quite often during the winter. John Disney also observed one at about the same time roosting in Hyde Park, Sydney. Regards Greg Clancy |
