Tony states state:
"The organiser wants to go on a trip to start with ..." Not true. I organised the Pelagic trips from Eden for ten years and never went on one! Nor was I ever the recipient of any payment. Occasionally I made up the cost for 'missing' passengers. The purpose of my effort was to provide a service to birdwatchers. This took considerable time and created much frustration especially with last minute cancellations due to various reasons, (more noticeable when the weather forecast was bad) but I derived satisfaction knowing I was filling a need. Based on John Leonard's response I guess I fall into a new category - No 3!Barbara Jones =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.comTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
