Dave,
I wasn't planning on taking anything a bit far. I was just trying to make
birding-aus easier to use (in a way that most other birding list servs
world-wide work). However, if (almost) nobody agrees, then there is no need to
go on with the discussion...
Nikolas
By the way I don't know every single puddle in the megalopolis of Sydney by
name. Maybe "Enoggera Dam" is the puddle down the street?! ;-)----------------

Would you honestly drive to Newcastle rather than Sydney without
checking first???
I think you are taking this a bit far Nikolas.
If you are really busy and only interested in certain things then
surely something like Enoggera Dam wouldn't be interesting to you
anyway?
Generally i go by the rule that if I don't know immediately where
somewhere is then I won't be in a position to rush off and see
something anyway. Enoggera Dam is somewhere i have never heard of so
assumed it was somewhere too far away to worry about.
I certainly enjoyed reading about it and the excitement it generated
though, so thanks again to the original poster.
Cheers
Dave
PS - Is Birding-Aus supposed to be professional?
