Hi,
I'll be in Darwin for a few days from this Friday (13-17 June) and would
like to visit the Leanyer sewage works. I believe you need a key to gain
access. Can anyone provide me with information on access, acquiring a
key, and anything else of relevance.
Main reason for the visit (my first to Darwin) is a wedding on the Sat
evening, but we will have about 3 days for birdwatching. Have done a
fair bit of research including consulting the three guides to the area
that I have (McCrie & Watson, Donato et al, and Goodfellow) and have
decided on a variety of places to visit (all within 100k of Darwin -
decided not to try to do Kakadu in such a brief time), but if anyone has
any essential information to dispense I'd love to hear it. We will have
a hire car and will be staying in Palmerston.
