Hi Belinda,It is indeed an exotic cage escapee. A check of my 'Parrots, a guide to the parrots of the world' indicates that it is an Alexandrine Parakeet Psittacula eupatria eupatria of peninsular India and Sri Lanka. Cage bird experts might like to differ but that is what it appears to be to me. Greg Clancy |
