Hi Tobias, Kuris and Max,

Great to hear that there are young people out there who are keen birdos.  I 
was a young birdo in the 1960s and it was very difficult to admit it without 
being ridiculed.  I hope that things are easier now that environmental 
issues generally are more topical.  If you still get a hard time just grin 
and bear it as Kurtis said birdos are generally intelligent people and his 
advice is worth taking.
I have a small troupe of grandchildren that are becoming budding 
naturalists, which is great.
