Hey Max,

I started out birding at a real young age too! Glad to hear your getting into
it early. Im now 17, and have recorded about 320 species.
Take advantage of your talent and interest, go out birding as much as you can,
join your local birdwatching club (you can get out to some great locations with
these guys).
Most of all, share your interestand knowledge with others and don't let other
kids put you down. Birders are usually a pretty intelligent bunch of people so
you'll find your wit will get the best of those who attempt to knock your
interests.
Unfortunately you won't find many other kids your age as into the birding as
you are, but that doesn't matter because you don't really need other people to
have when your out birding.
If you enjoy twitching, participate in a twitchathon and see how many species
you can rack up in a day, its real fun!

Keep on birding,

Kurtis Lindsay
