Hi Michelle,Is your project looking at the other potential problems with feeding birds - i.e. the spread of disease (beak and feather etc.) and the effect of attracting (often large) birds to feeders that then dominate the landscape to the detriment of the smaller (more threatened species). I suppose the Rainbow Lorikeets that you mention are an example of the latter but what about the others (Noisy Miners, Blue-faced Honeyeaters, Magpies and butcherbirds)? Regards Greg Clancy |
