Dear All,There is a great article in the Sydney Morning Herald today about Gillian Hogendyk, a Vet and Wires volunteer in Warren, NSW. Mrs Hogendyk repairs the wings of WTEs and other raptors, using flight feathers of from dead birds. The story can be viewed online at: http://www.smh.com.au/news/environment/the-flight-mechanic-for-eagle-force/2008/02/22/1203467388889.html Cheers, Carl Clifford =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.comTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
