I can advise that a large number (I estimated to be at least 20,000) have
returned to the Dry Creek Saltfields at St Kilda after a long absence.

Does anyone know where this flock is? I have friends travelling through the
Coorong currently - and I'm sure they'd like to take a look!

Thanks,

Hi Koren

Probably referring to the remarkable congregation of Banded Stilts
currently massing in the Coorong about 180km se of Adelaide.

See http://www.abc.net.au/rural/news/content/2007/s2155587.htm
