Interestingly Richard Kingsford discussed this very topic an excellent interview with Margaret Throsby on ABC Classic FM yesterday. See http://www.abc.net.au/classic/throsby/ Wednesday 6 February. As mentioned great interview; I can highly recommend it. Could have been Pelicans on Lake Eyre. Speaking of, anyone know if Lake Eyre has a chance of getting some water in it as a result of the recent Queensland flooding? Or am I in the wrong basin?
