Hi BelindaI hired a Subaro Outback from Europcar when I went to the Northern Territory in August last year. They stipulate that you can take a 4WD on any gazzetted road (including gravel) but with specific exceptions such as the Gibb River Rd, Cape Leveque Rd and Cardabia-Ningaloo Rd in WA.
