I'm interested to know why there is no talk of controlling all these
Guineafowl?
4 Canada Geese flew in and everyone wants to get rid of them asap
(which i agree with) but there doesn't seem to be any stress about
these birds?
Is it because they don't do as much damage?
I'd love to hear opinions/reasons??
(I have also seen a flock north of Cairns in the middle of a large
roundabout on the main road!)
Cheers
Dave

What about the small flock near Mareeba Wetlands?

There has been a flock near the hospital in Chillagoe (Far W of
Cairns) for quite a few years and the locals say they belong to no-
one and they look after themselves. Same story in Wyndham in the
Kimberley.

There is a flock of them at the Black Bull Siding on the Gulflander
train line between Croydon and Normanton in Nth Qld. The locals
assure me they are wild and have been for a long time.
