Just send a couple down to Adelaide. We could do with a tick.
But only if they land in my garden and visit the bird bath. It's too

Dear All,
Perhaps it might be best to find out if the geese are owned by some
one before they are killed. With a going price of around $800.00
each, the owner may be a bit testy at losing some $3200. Canada Geese
are kept legally by poultry collectors in Australia and can be bought
on the open market, as can species such as Paradise Shelduck, New
Zealand Scaup and Carolina Duck. The Pheasant and Waterfowl Society
of Australia web site http://www.pwsa.org.au/ offers an interesting
range of species for sale, including the afore-mentioned species.
Looking at the list of species offered, it is amazing that we haven't
had more exotic sightings.
Cheers,
Carl Clifford
