Are they breeding? If so they should be stopped.As Lawrie Conole said about the November 2002 bird at Shoalhaven Heads, only 150 kms away. "After all the twitching has been completed, I hope somebody is going to trap/cull this bird! We do not need Canada Goose as a new feral for Australia. If one CG can get here, presumably so can others. Let's not take the risk by leaving this bird at large." Hear, hear. To me, an "indirect feral" from NZ is still a feral.And best wishes for a New Year full of hope that humanity is facing up to its effect on our planet.
