My sons and I were eating lunch in a park here in Sydney on Tuesday, and observed a noisy miner get to close to a magpie. The magpie made a loud clicking noise at the miner, apparently warning it away. This is our first time to observe this. Is it a common magpie behaviour? Is it a warning behaviour? Is it common to other species? Cheers on the Great Birthday!
