There don't seem to be caruncles on this bird but in immatures or non-breeders
these are small and hard to see anyway. Did Barbara get other pics?
I am not sure about aberrant plumaged Pieds. The pale bill wipes out the
possibility of a Black-faced to me.
Certainly an interesting bird. The shot is also great because it allows an
instant ID comparison with a Pied, Little Pied and Great Cormorants around it.
Just my two bob's worth. Look forward to hearing about what others might think
