Congratulation on the successful blog Trevor. You must write well
to generate that sort of traffic.  But you are understimating the
birding-aus readership a little.  The archive gets about 15000 "unique
visitors" a month from roughly 50 countries.  This will double-count
some people because they use multiple IPs and some of these visitors
won't actually read anything but it still looks like several thousand
people read something from  the archive each month.
