I am unsure as to the problem with Madagascar? In my 8 day visit to the capital Antananarivo, I was able to pick up a HUGE total of 7 species (2 lifers). A visit to Medan, Sumatra, Indonesia for the same duration, including a side trip to see the Orangutans in the Gunung Lesser National Park, I only saw 5!! Conclusions: Australia is great!!!!
