Hello all,

This morning I observed a rather large bird which had a wingspan of
about one metre. The wings were rather pointed . The creature was only
seen for a very short time and in silhouette. It was one of those
frustrating glimpses . The only distinctive feature was a odd clicking
sound which seemed to relate to the wingbeats . From general indications
my reaction was a possible raptor ,from the sheer size alone. My
impression was that the click was produced anatomically . Can anybody
suggest what it could possibly be .
