Have you looked at Cussen Park in Tatura? It's a park/swamp with a few hides. I've only been there a couple of times, but it looks quite good. I put my sightings on www.eremaea.com, and I think location details are on there too. I'm a beginner, so there were a few birds I couldn't identify that I didn't list.
