Marty.
14 young terns flew away last season (out of 18 hatched). NPWS has been
asked to prepare the island near Towra Point where Little Terns normally
breed. I don't know if this has been done yet.

Subject: Little Terns at Penrhyn Estuary?
Could anybody tell me whether any of the Little Tern chicks that hatched
last season at Penrhyn Estuary, Port Botany, fledged? If they didn't, what
were the reasons and are NPWS or other interested parties a little better
prepared for this year if the Terns decide to give it another go?
Marty.
