For those of you who don't consult the Murdoch Press, Greg Roberts has
written an account of Amy Flatt and the Bridgetown Rufous Owl in
today's Australian -
http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,25197,22469276-
30417,00.html .

"When Ms Flatt posted news of her sighting on the internet chatline
Birding-Aus it was widely disbelieved, until she produced photographs."

I think a search of the archives will reveal that "widely" is a
relative term.

Regards, Laurie.
