Hi all
My last posting on the Northern Beaches Fairy-wren Survey had a huge
and glaring omission from my "thankyou list": Nevil Lazarus.
Many of you will know Nevil for the beautiful photographic works of
birds which he produces, often captured with a sensitivity which
greatly enhances the portrayal of his subjects, but always
demonstrating a good knowledge of his subjects, equipment and no
doubt a large dash of patience. Nevil provided the images which were
used on the pre-survey presentation and which were enjoyed and
remarked upon by all who attended. This is not the first time that
Nevil has provided fantastic images for conservation-based
presentation on the northern beaches.
Nevil can rest assured that his kind contribution has once again
helped to raise the profile of conservation a few more notches here
on the Peninsula, for which all involved are very grateful.
