Hi there The resident Koel arrived about a week ago (Bolton Point, Lake Macquarie). The first Channel-billed Cuckoos heard this evening (Bolton Point, Lake Macquarie). On Saturday morning in the Watagan NP west of Lake Macquarie (Monkey Face Lookout off Mt Falk Rd) a Black-faced Monarch. Also some Gang Gang Cockatoos calling in alarm as a couple of Wedgetails cruised over.
