While wandering around some swamps near Albany, we heard a bird in the reeds that sounded very much like an electronic telephone's ring. Has anyone heard a call like this before? Unfortunately my digital recorder was out of batteries, so I couldn't record the sound for posterity. Cheers, Meryl. http://dabblerduck.blogspot.com =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
