The other issue of course is that not all taxonomists agree (else we
would only need one taxonomy!). Can't speak for the new Clements as I
have yet to buy it and certainly can't speak for the new Aussie list
due in Nov, but there were quite a few differences between the old
Clements and the current Aussie checklist. Reconciling the varying
taxonomies is impossible - you just have to pick a taxonomy and stick
to it! But of course that does not mean that they do not make mistakes
as Paul has pointed out.
