I encountered large numbers of Striated Pardalotes within the road reserves
along the Hume Highway, between Woomargama and Mullengandra last Monday (13
August) (about 30-35 km north of Albury, NSW). Didn't see many along other
parts of the highway, despite extensive bird surveys between Mullengandra
and the Sturt Highway intersection (to Wagga Wagga) from 9-13 August
(inclusive).
