The Vicnet technical people are looking into the problem. Similar
things have happened before - various providers have a habit of
blaming Vicnet, or each other .... but when it gets resolved it is
usually no easier to apportion blame!
Anyway, you can read messages on the web at Google Groups:
http://groups.google.com/group/birding-aus
or point your news feed reader at:
feed://groups.google.com/group/birding-aus/feed/rss_v2_0_msgs.xml
or go to the searchable archive (maintained kindly by Andrew Taylor
at UNSW for over 10 years now):
http://www.cse.unsw.edu.au/birding-aus/
Of course, if you are not getting messages, it might be a bit hard to
read this ... but I'll circulate the info to anyone who has reported
the problem.
Thanks for everyone who has sent me helpful info.
Cheers
Russell
