Hi Natalia, The Queensland Museum have published a leaflet about them several years ago. For the reason that they attract attention in Brisbane, just as you have described. I suggest contact the Queensland Museum to see if they still have any leaflets. They are unlikely looking hawks. I wish we had them here. By the way, their "official" name is Pacific Baza.
