Depending how much time you have you could look for the whitei race of Striated Grasswren in the bigger spinifex on the slopes of the hills in the hinterland there. As with Short-tailed Grasswren, could be split one day. Our trip list was nearly 70 species, highlights much as Rohan's. When driving at night saw a Spotted Nightjar.
