Hi All In response to POC feeding on lawn/pasture i add the following. On Kangaroo Island, the POC population at Pelican Lagoon/American River and Kingscote (E KI sheltered shallow seas) depart shoreline to feed in wet green pasture. This is most pronounced at former location mentioned where up to 200 birds have been seen foraging in farm paddock some 300 metres from shore of Pelican Lagoon. Presumed to be feeding on pasture grubs. Cant recall seeing Sooty O/C amongst them at all.
