Tim Dolby highlights the low number of records for Spangled Drongo in Victoria and this is supported by the data in the Atlas of Victorian Wildlife (27 records). The earliest report is from 1950 and, as Tim mentioned, the last reported Victorian record is from 2001. Observations are spread across all seasons but many of the records are from East Gippsland and a few from Phillip Island in Western Port Bay. A good sighting and well worth atlassing...!
