Hi Birders, While on the subject of Birdline Victoria reports, a single very vocal Spangled Drongo was seen yesterday 3km North West of Bairnsdale. The last record I have of a Spangled Drongo in Victoria was June 2001 in Wantirna. The BA Atlas (Birdata) has 2 Victorian records: 1 near Lakes Entrance and 1 near Mallacoota. I'd be interested in hearing about any other Victorian records of this bird. For information on the Drongo (and for another photo of Olivia, the now famous Melbourne Powerful Owl) see Birdline Victoria at: http://www.eremaea.com/BirdlineRecentSightings.aspx?Culture=en-au&Birdline=1 Cheers, Tim Dolby Bird Australia Victoria Birdline Moderator ==============================www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: ============================= |
