I have a friend who gets very annoyed when people call power poles
'telegraph poles'. He points out that the telegraph hasn't been around for
some time.
The real challenge for Territorians is to rename the town of 'Jabiru'. I suppose we can live with a town name having a South American origin as many other Australian cities and towns have been named after British towns. Greg Clancy |
