Hi birders, My husband, a gardener by trade, was mowing a lawn today and was confronted by a magpie. It apparently gave a call closely resembling a coot, followed by another call which my husband thought sounded like a thornbill. It then gave a more magpie-like call and that was the end of the conversation. Cheers, Tracey Newcombe Tomerong, NSW south coast =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
