Hi Edwin,

The New Holland Honeyeaters may have been attacking the dead Flying-fox and became additional victims of a motor vehicle. Years ago I recorded a Willie Wagtail, a pair of Magpie-larks and an Australian Magpie mobbing a dead Southern Boobook on the edge of a road. Every time a vehicle passed the owl's wing would raise with the wind generated by the moving vehicle and the attack would resume in earnest.

Regards

Greg Clancy
