Do members of this list feel that these apparently endlessly repetitive WTNT
notifications really need to go to the entire list?
No.
We don't report
any other routine sightings in this manner (thank goodness), and unlike
postings from an individual that we can block if we choose, these WTNT
postings necessarily come from many posters and hence can't be selectively
blocked (or at least I assume they can't).
If some kind of convention were adopted for the subject line it would
be easy to add a filter. For example, if the subject always started
with
WTNT:
...or anything else that is easy to remember and type.
Then those of us who are not interested in every WTNT sighting could
add a filter to remove these posts and no harm done.
